Participant's FAQs

Do I need an e-mail account/address in order to sign-up as a participant?
Absolutely! Confirmations for presenters, participants, workshop information, as well general notices from the Warren County In-Service Committee are sent to the e-mail address you provide at the time of registration. If you do not have an e-mail account, please contact your district technology coordinator.

Can I use an e-mail account other than the one assigned to me by my district?
Yes. Just remember to check it for e-mail messages and e-bulletins.

How do I register to for a workshop?
First you should search/review the list of available workshops. Find a workshop you like and click on the "sign-up" button. Then complete and and submit the registration form. The server will return a "thank you" page confirming the details of the workshop. Additionally, a confirmation e-mail is sent to you as well as the workshop presenter for their records. If you selected a 1/2 day workshop, just go to the drop down list and select another workshop completing the same steps as before.

When can I register for workshops?
Participants will be able to register starting September 29, 2008 through October 8th, 2008 6:00 p.m..

How many schools are participating in this years' County-Wide Professional Development Program?
We have invited all Warren County public and non-public schools to join us for this years' program.

What kind of workshops are you looking for this year?
Already on-line are the results of our needs survey indicating the types of workshops participants are looking for. Visitors can still post new items to the list. This list is "dynamically" updated each time a new item is added.

Will I be required to Sign-In?
YES. Everyone needs to sign-in or they will not receive a Professional Development Certificate. Certificates will be generated using "mail merge" from the on-line registration files, then compared with the sign-in sheets.

When will certificates be issued?
Certificates will be distributed by the presenters at the conclusion of the workshop. These will be distributed to you by the presenter at the conclusion of the workshop.

I have a question about my workshop?
Feel free to contact your presenter via e-mail. When you received the e-mail confirmation for your workshop it showed their email address at the top of the message along with yours. You can cut-n-paste it into a new message, if you need to send correspondence.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
If for some reason you need to cancel your registration, please visit the participant's administration page.
